Language Arts In my language arts class we learn topics such as grammar, reading and literature and how to write stories.
In grammar we learn about punctuation marks and what they do and mean. We also learn techniques for summarizing information in text and more.
In reading and literature, we read stories and answer questions about the stories. This confirms our comprehension of what we read. We are also taught techniques on how to write stories. We would use certain topics and the techniques we've learnt and write stories. Then in class we would read our stories to each other and we find out what's correct and what's wrong with them. Hopefully, we learn from our mistakes.
